On July 26th, 2024, BONTAC, together with Shenzhen Health Industry Development Promotion Association, successfully held the 60th Vice President Salon of Shenzhen Health Industry with the theme of "Green Bio-Tech, Creating Healthy and Better Life".This event was professionally guided by the Joint Party Committee of Related Associations in Shenzhen Health Industry and Shenzhen Health Care Association, as well as strongly supported by Shenzhen Social Organization Exchange Service Exhibition Site.
Under the leadership of Ms. Huang, Executive Director of the Shenzhen Health Industry Development Promotion Association, over 40 members convened to explore the emerging trends and innovative opportunities within the health industry.

Subsequently, at the symposium, Dr. Cheung, BONTAC Chief Scientist, gave a keynote speech titled "Efficient and Green Biosynthesis of Natural Products Such as Ginsenoside and NMN”, delving into the profound applications and promising future of synthetic biology in the sustainable production of natural compounds like ginsenoside and NMN. Afterwards, Mr. Zhang, BONTAC’s Director of Development Strategy, outlined the company's current trajectory and future aspirations, articulating a grand vision for collaborative innovation with diverse partners to advance the frontiers of biotechnology.
Mr. Wu, a distinguished lawyer from the Beijing Jingsh Law Firm Shenzhen Office, delivered valuable insights to member companies through an in-depth analysis of the essential factors for the international expansion of Chinese pharmaceutical enterprises and healthcare products, focusing on intellectual property and regulatory compliance.
During the interactive sessions, participants engaged in profound discussions on pivotal topics including the application of synthetic biotechnology and the global expansion strategies of enterprises. Dr. Cheung provided detailed responses to the associated inquiries.
Meanwhile, the Association's inaugural council for 2024 took place at BONTAC. Ms. Huang reviewed the accomplishments of the first half of the year and outlined the strategic priorities for the latter half, which encompass organizing the Shenzhen Health Conference, releasing the industry's development report, and advancing the establishment of group standards. These initiatives are poised to amplify the Association's impact and foster the health industry's sustainable growth.
